This is the first journal entry of the new year, can you believe it? Yes, I know my skills as a watched deviant are poor, considering I hardly ever speak to my watchers, and haven't uploaded anything in an age and a half. But my friends, I can explain. I was without laptop for a while, and had no access to any other type of computer tech. But now that I have my laptop back, hopefully you will all be seeing some more deviations from me, if I'm not too busy with school and. . . other important things.
I try to draw as often as possible, but mostly everything ends up a doodle. It's really hard to sit down and actually produce an art piece worthy of praise wilst so stressed and busy. School gets back in on monday, and I have about five (very large) homework assignments that I haven't even started on. I should make that one of my new year's resolutions, no?
Even so, that's the gist of everything. Life is a little bit complicated right now, and I'm trying to fit art in with everything else, seeing as I love it so much. But I'm not going to have a lot of time on my hands the next month, because I'm in a musical production that begins showing on the twenty eighth, the earliest we've ever started. It's going to really stress out our director, and if we're doing anything but practice we're going to get kicked out. So I'll be working on that and schoolwork most of the time. But we'll see how it goes.
Bottom line: if I can get some art in and up, I will. That's a promise. Just don't expect a huge amount of uploads for the next little while. Thanks everybody, I appreciate all of your support. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
